Pokemon Scarlet & Violet has revealed its next Tera Raid which will feature Armarouge and Ceruledge. The Pokémon will be available to catch from 00:00 UTC on February 3 through to 23:59 UTC on February 5. As players will have seen during the past Tera Raids, the Pokémon encountered will be version dependent.
The previous Tera Raid Pokémon was Greninja, now Armarouge and Ceruledge comprise the five and six-star raid battles this weekend. Pokémon Violet owners will encounter Ceruledge more frequently during the raids, while Pokémon Scarlet owners will see Armarouge more. This is Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s seventh Tera raid.
Armarouge is a humanoid, dual-type Pokémon that was first introduced in Generation IX. It is one of the final forms of Charcadet, with the other being Ceruledge, naturally. Armarouge’s armour is the source of its psychic capabilities, and it also controls fire energy, explaining its typing. Armarouge’s signature move is called Armor Cannon, a 120-power move that lowers defense and special defense.
Ceruledge also has dual typing, being ghost and fire type. While its counterpart is designed around its armor, Ceruledge has two wicked blades that emanate ghostly energies. The signature move of this Pokémon is Bitter Blade, a 90-power move that heals for half the damage it inflicts.
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet plans to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a new Tera Raid battle in which players will come face to face with Tandemous. It will run from February 13 until February 15. More information regarding the event will be available soon.
