The latest images for One Piece Odyssey show the Straw Hat gang on their next adventure. The story sets to have the group of pirates stranded due to a storm, and end up on an island called ‘Waffled’. Now separated from their friends and the Thousand Sunny ship now sunk, it’s up to Luffy and his crew to escape from the island now surrounded by storms.

But not all will be smooth sailing as they will face mysterious wonders, challenging foes and more. Piecing together some puzzles that now cross their path, the heroes will need to find out what secrets lie here.

In case you missed it, One Piece Odyssey was announced at the end of last month, set to be a full JRPG heading to Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC in 2022. It was previously revealed that it will be an “epic adventure to experience the One Piece world” with manga series artist and creator Mangaka Eiichiro Oda designing new characters and monsters for the game himself. The JRPG will contain everything you’d expect from a full-fledged RPG experience including dungeons, quests, puzzles and more.

One Piece is one of the longest-running mangas which first debuted back in 1997 in the popular Japanese magazine Weekly Shounen Jump. The series still ongoing and has already surpassed its 100th volume not too long ago, and its anime has already had over 1000 episodes.

One Piece Odyssey will be released in 2022 for Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
