There are some things to know about cross-platform play for Baldur’s Gate 3. You need to have the same Larian Studios account on both consoles, and you need to purchase the game twice. Sadly, even if you bought it on one console, you can’t just get it for free on another. But if you buy Baldur’s Gate 3 on Steam, you don’t have to buy it twice to play it both on PC and Mac, since they can both use Steam or GoG.

Does Baldur’s Gate 3 support cross-play?
Unfortunately, if you’re wanting to play Baldur’s Gate 3 multiplayer with a friend on another console, you can’t achieve this. While PC players can play with Mac and other PC players, PC and Mac players cannot play with PS5 players.
