We are midway through the 3.2 Update in Genshin Impact, and the second banner is just around the corner.
The 3.2 Update brought two new characters into the game, Layla, and Nahida, alongside a plethora of new quests. Considering that the previous two updates were quite significant, it was expected that this one would be a smaller one. However, despite the update not adding a new region and extending the Sumeru region instead, it still managed to add a good amount of new content for players out there.
There are two banners arriving in Phase 2 of the 3.2 Update. The first banner contains Yae Miko as the 5-star character with the 4-star lineup comprising Layla, Thoma, and Heizou. The second banner will be featuring Targlia as the 5-star character, and the 4-star characters remain the same. The highlight of this banner is undoubtedly Layla, the new Cryo character that is debuting in this update. Despite the first banner being one of the most successful banners for Genshin Impact in the initial few days, many players are planning to pull for this banner as well, something which we don’t usually see.
As far as the release date of the banner goes, it will be released on Friday, 18th November. The banner will be released at different times based on the server you play on. You can find the release time according to the servers below.
- Americas: 1:00 am, November 18th, 2022
- Europe: 7:00 am, November 18th, 2022
- Asia: 6:00 pm, November 18th, 2022
Since this is just a new banner and not an update, there will be no downtime. Players can expect a number of new quests to arrive along with the banner as well. With Layla being linked with a crucial story quest, it’d be interesting to see how the narrative unfolds around an all-new character.
