Tools in Wuthering Waves are important. Things like the Levitator can help you get better items. So when you start getting tools, I suggest you use them immediately. One of them is the Sensor, and you’ll be tasked to find a patrol route. With a lot going on in Wuthering Waves, knowing how to use the Sensor to confirm the patrol route may get lost. But don’t worry, this guide will walk you through the process.

Wuthering Waves: How to use the Sensor to confirm the patrol route

Earning the Sensor is the easy part, you need to make it the quest called Echoing Marche. This is part of the first chapter and will lead you to the first forward base outside the main city. When you start this quest, you’ll get access to the Levitator. Before you start looking for the route, an NPC will give you the rundown on how to use the Sensor.

Now, using the Sensor to find the patrol route isn’t explained well for some reason. First, you have to equip the tool. Hold the Tab key on your keyboard and the Item Wheel will pop up. Select the Sensor and exit this menu. Next, press T on the Keyboard to use it. Upon activating the Sensor, you should see a blueish hologram of a person. Keep on following until you see another hologram.

However, once you trigger the Sensor to start picking up the route, the destination will also be revealed with a yellow indicator. I followed the path along because I wanted to grind while playing. You can choose to do the same or, just skip the route and head to the endpoint without confirming the route.  You’ll get the same result.

Using the Sensor and finding the route is much easier than doing the Encryption Block puzzles in Wuthering Waves.
