Wuthering Waves: How to get Dauntless Evernight Broadblade for free
If you’re stuck on choosing any weapons from the Rangers Series weapon box, don’t pick Dauntless Evernight. You can obtain this Broadblade easily through other means. You can get the Dauntless Evernight Broadblade for free in Wuthering Waves by completing the Exploration Quest “We Promise, We Deliver.”
You should already have this quest in your quest list, but if not, you can pick it up by inspecting the wanted poster by the Synthesizer in Jinzhou City. This will kickstart the quest “We Promise, We Deliver”, and to actually acquire Dauntless Evernight you’ll need to see this quest to the very end. Once you check the mail sent to your inbox, it’ll send you on a quest to the Sea of Flames and through random research facilities.
Complete the puzzles and minigames while defeating enemies to lead you up to the final boss battle against the Inferno Rider. After you finally defeat him in battle, the Sea of Flames will transform into something a lot nicer and more manageable to explore.
The Dauntless Evernight Broadblade isn’t a quest reward, it’s located at the very top of the buildings above the boss battle where you fought the Inferno Rider. The easiest way to get there is to glide overtop the air stream lifting you to nearly the top of the building.
Once you reach the end of the air stream, jump toward the wall of the tower and run up it. Make sure to collect the floating orbs that give you more stamina on your way up.
Continue running up this wall until you make it to the very top of this desecrated skyscraper. Stuck in the ground is the Dauntless Everynight Broadblade, waiting for you to pick it up. Now you have a cool Broadblade, and you can still get another weapon for free from the Rangers Series weapon box!
