Brian Packham (played by Peter Gunn) is set to say goodbye to his cousin Isabella Benvenuti (Flaminia Cinque) in upcoming scenes but is left with a big decision to make.

Official Coronation Street spoilers have revealed that Brian’s feelings towards Mary Taylor (Patti Clare) have gotten stronger.

In upcoming scenes, Brian and Isabella are back from their trip but things aren’t all plain sailing on Brian’s end.

Brian admits to Mary that he has had enough of Isabella. leaving Mary to urge him to be honest with her.

Unable to be friendly towards one another, Mary and Isabella clash once again, with Rita Tanner (Barbara Knox) noticing a wistful gaze at Mary.

She soon realises that Brian has feelings for her, but will she say anything to bring the pair together?

Later, Isabella catches Brian on the phone with her builder in Naples to see how her renovations are coming along and realises he wants rid of her.

After getting the cold shoulder from his cousin, Brian finally admits to Isabella that he’d like her to leave.

But when she bursts into tears and reveals Brian is her only friend, what will he do?

After talking Isabella down and making sure they stay in contact. Brian and Mary wave Isabella off to the airport.

Brian turns to Mary and thanks her for her support with his feelings clearly running deeper than he’s letting on.

Will Brian be able to tell Mary the truth now that Isabella has gone and he can focus more on his relationship?

The entire time Isabella has been in Weatherfield, viewers of the ITV soap have worried that she has a sinister plan when it came to Brian.

On Reddit, user oheeehoo posted: “Do we think Brian’s cousin is legit or do we think she’s a con because her flat suddenly being uninhabitable was a bit weird?”

Isabella has proven herself to just be Brian’s cousin and wanting to get to know her family from the other side of the pond.
