Tome 14 brings new memories of The Knight, Vittorio Toscano, and The House of Arkham, along with a catalog of challenges.
Dead by Daylight has just released Tome 14, titled Betrayal, in which players can experience the narrative of the multiplayer horror game with memories and complete a variety of challenges to earn rewards. The latest Tome that can be found in The Archives takes players to lost memories of The Knight, Vittorio Toscano, and The House of Arkham. It also brings medieval-inspired cosmetics, charms, and brand-new challenges for players to test their abilities.
Tomes in Dead by Daylight serve as a kind of story expansion that further expands the game’s universe with new memories of different characters. They offer players a more narrative experience when they need a break from the multiplayer mode. Completing Master Quests of a Tome unlocks memories for characters, logs, cinematics, charms, and bonus Bloodpoints. New Tomes have been regularly added to the game’s Archives section since The Awakening Tome launched back in 2019.
Dead by Daylight’s Tome 14: Betrayal adds three new memories of The Knight, Vittorio Toscano, and The House of Arkham, each providing an insight into their story background. Players will learn more about The Knight’s story in ‘Nothing But Darkness’ Memory while uncovering the mysterious story of Vittorio Oscano. “His perception of time has long faded. He’s not entirely sure his rational mind hasn’t followed suit. Yet still the journey persists, from swamp to farm to forest. An endless cycle of Realms, each more mysterious than the last. Only by seeking knowledge can he ever escape…if he even wishes to,” the official blog post reads.
Players will progress through the Free Track and Premium Track of The Rift to unlock cosmetics for The Knight, Vittorio Toscano, Claudette Morel, Feng Min, and The Huntress. Moreover, the Deep Rift Outfits will return along with Rift-exclusive rewards for those who progress beyond Tier 70. Players will be rewarded with a total of 500,000 BloodPoints, which ensures that they will receive a new reward for each tier. As for character-specific gameplay challenges, players must complete a number of challenges to progress in the Tome, which is separated into several Levels that contain a new layout for the Auris Web, lore entries, Bloodpoints, and Rift Fragments.
In order to complete some of the gameplay challenges, Survivors must contend with Blue Glyphs that can inflict them with Blindness and Oblivious. Dead by Daylight Tome 14: Betrayal can be unlocked now in The Archive.
