Worker Jacket and Hat locations

Once you reach Stray’s Midtown section, things start to open up massively. Midtown is an even more complex and layered environment than The Slums, even if you won’t spend as much time on the rooftops. There are secrets hidden everywhere, the environmental detail is so dense that you might miss a path if you’re not careful.

Once you meet with Clementine and her informant, Blazer, you need to find a way into the Factory. Blazer can sneak you in, but you’ll need a Worker Hat and a Worker Jacket so he can get in himself. Both of these items require several steps to grab, so for everything you need to know, just check through our guide below.

Worker Jacket location – Stray

The Worker Jacket is located in the clothing shop, just downstairs from the hologram at the main square. The clerk here dislikes loud music, but is otherwise very attentive. They have a Worker Jacket in the window display, but you can’t just pay with Energy Drinks around here. Instead, you’ll need a distraction so you can steal it.

There’s a boombox in the back room, and you can use the Cassette Tape earned from the Security Camera quest to play some music. This will pull the clerk into the back room, allowing you to grab the Worker Jacket and run outside before you get into trouble.

Worker Hat location – Stray

There’s a hat shop near the hologram on the main square too, but the owner doesn’t want to let anyone in while it’s being restocked. Trouble is, the robot worker doesn’t want to start until his partner shows up, and he’s very late.

Head into the nearby bar on the main street to find the worker robot passed out in the back room. Climb onto the shelf above the robot using the ladder, and knock down the crate of bottles to wake the robot up. Follow him back to the hat shop, and he’ll start working. Before he does though, jump into the box on the floor, and he’ll carry you inside the shop.

Jump out once inside, take the Worker Hat from the window display, and then open up the vent to escape. Hand these over to Blazer in order to get access to the Factory.
