Ironshrooms are a valuable ingredient in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. These useful mushrooms can give you a defense boost when cooked into a meal. And when you’re facing Lynels or silver-tiered enemies, that kind of buff is invaluable. So, knowing where to find a large source of this stuff can help stop a few game-overs. Here’s where you can find plenty of Ironshrooms in Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom: Where to find Ironshrooms

Ironshrooms are an extremely common mushroom in Tears of the Kingdom. Just like Razorshrooms which are similarly common, there are a few hotspots where you can find a ton. To make things even easier, most of the best spots are found in Faron and East Necluda. The forests in this region have a lot of Ironshrooms to find. A single pass of these areas can easily net you with over 20 Ironshrooms minimum. Use the map below to check where the best spots are.

The first spot on the map is Dracozu Lake and the surrounding forest. I’ve managed to find around 16 Ironshrooms here at once. The second area encompasses the Sarjon Woods, and Bronas Forest. There are fewer Ironshrooms to find here, but there are still at least 12. The third area covers Ebara Forest, and the edge of Courage Steppe. There are about 10 Ironshrooms you can find here. And if you go to each spot you can easily claim over 30 Ironshrooms in Tears of the Kingdom very easily. But there is an alternative location once you’ve used up all of these spots.

The other most reliable location for Ironshrooms in Tears of the Kingdom is the Korok Forest General Store. It sells four Ironshrooms for 20 Rupees each. This is the best place to go if you need to get a few Ironshrooms quickly and reliably. This is a particularly good method if you’ve managed to use a certain infinite Rupee glitch and have plenty to spend. Once you’ve got a lot of Ironshrooms, you can chuck them in a cooking pot to get a very good defense food. If you’re going up against something like the Frost Gleeok, this is something you’ll definitely want.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is now available on Nintendo Switch.
