Lego’s line of Technic toys are brilliant for anyone looking for a more challenging and time-consuming build. These kits usually have a lot more pieces than standard sets, require plenty of dexterity in your fingers, and allow you to add in several interactive features. This tank-like build is an app-controlled transformation vehicle and is also the first Technic set to flip over when the car hits a wall. Thanks to the two-sided design, it can be flipped by hand to reveal a tracked racer on one side and an exploration truck on the other. The remote-control function is handled through a dedicated app that automatically switches screens to match the car when it flips.
When you start building, you’ll construct a bogie suspension system, cockpits, unique tracks, two large motors, a hub, and a truck bed on this model. The shock absorbers will drive the “pop-up” function that changes the shape of this vehicle when it flips over, making for a fun build that’s suitable for ages nine and up.
