Episode 2 The Misfit of Demon King Academy Season 2 will be released on Saturday, January 14th, 2022, at 8:30 AM PST. In Japan, the show will release on multiple local networks, such as Tokyo MX, GYT, GTV, BS11, AT-X, TVA, and YTV, while Crunchyroll will stream it for international fans. The second season of The Misfit of Demon King Academy began airing last week, and a lot has already taken place since the first episode. Several new characters have already been introduced, and the episode ended with Ms Historia’s abduction and the formation of an alliance between the Four Evil Royals to battle against the Demon King of Tyranny.
The upcoming episode will be titled “The Demon King’s Duel of Intellect”, and fans will witness Anos Voldigoad and his classmates search all around the Demon King Academy to look for the “Child of God.” While Anos’ companions will fight against the demons from two thousand years ago, Anos himself will be seen fighting in a game of intellect against the King of Death’s Army Officer, Ziek Ozma. The battle will test Anos’ wits as he has to guess correctly who is the “Child of God,” and he can only make a limited number of guesses.
Compared to Season 1, which only had 12 episodes in total, Season 2 was confirmed to run in two split-cours on March 6th, 2021. The first part of the series will run for 12 episodes, while the episode count for the second part has yet to be confirmed. That said, the second cour will either run for 12 or 13 episodes, taking the total episode count of season 2 to 24-25 episodes. And as Crunchyroll releases one episode per week schedule, fans will get to enjoy the series for around five to six months.
