Genshin Impact has revealed that two new characters, Klee and Beidou, will be added to Genius Invokation TCG when the version 3.4 update goes live next week. A new Twitter post shared details on the character cards as well as corresponding talent cards that will be available in the trading card game, which already includes over 20 characters.

Genius Invokation is a permanent trading card game that allows players to create their unique decks with more than 20 characters and compete against one another online. It also offers players weekly challenges against other characters to earn rewards. It appears that they will have two new characters to diversify their decks, as Klee and Beidou will make their way to Genius Invokation TCG in version 3.4 next week. There are also two corresponding talent cards, Pounding Surprise and Lightning Storm, which give players combat actions to use during the card game.

Klee specializes in Pyro damage, whose elemental skill, Jumpy Dumpty, gives her Explosive Spark to deal 3 damage in a turn. The character to which Explosive Spark is attached to can use a charged attack, which spends 1 less Pyro and deals 1 more damage. Additionally, when the total number of Elemental Dice is even, the normal attack to use will be considered a charged attack.

Klee’s elemental burst, Sparks and Splash, deals 3 Pyro damage while creating 1 Sparks and Splash in the opponent’s area. Sparks and Splash represents a combat status that deals 2 Pyro damage to the player’s active characters after they use a skill. Players can also use Pounding Surprise to apply Jumpy Dumpy once and create an Explosive Spark. However, they must have Klee in their deck to equip this talent card.

Beidou deals 2 Physical damage with her Oceanborne normal attack, as she can also deal 2 Electro damage thanks to her Wavestrider elemental skill. Beidou’s other elemental skill, Tidecaller, gives her a Surf Embrace status, allowing the character to immediately use the Wavestrider skill the next time she acts.

Players can utilize her elemental burst, Stormbreaker, to deal 3 Electro damage and create Thunderbeast’s Targe. It represents a combat status that deals 1 Electro damage after Beidou performs a normal attack. There is also a Lightning Storm talent card for players to add to their decks. When Beidou, who has this card equipped, uses Wavestrider (if damage is taken while Prepare Skill is active) his normal attacks will Cost 1 less Unaligned Element.

Klee and Beidou will be available on the Genius Invokation card game next week. In other Genshin Impact news, HoYoverse recently released a cinematic trailer for the new character Alhaitham, the scribe of the Sumeru that will appear in Teyvat with the release of version 3.4 update on Wednesday, January 18th. Another playable character making her debut in version 3.4 is Dendro 4-star Yaoyao.
