The Kitsune Fruit in Blox Fruits has been teased and hinted at for a while now, and we finally have confirmation that it’s coming to the game!

For a while now, rip_indra on X has been posting pictures teasing of the next incredibly powerful Mythical Fruit to hit Blox Fruits. People hoped it would arrive with Update 20, but not everything could be fit. Rip_indra has since revealed that the fruit, confirmed to be the Kitsune Fruit, will be arriving in Update 21 before the new year.
Fans had been speculating that the new fruit would be the Kitsune Fruit since it first was teased, and our theories have been answered.
It looks to be another Beast-type fruit, but I’m not complaining.

What we can expect from the Kitsune Fruit in Blox Fruits
There is a lot to get excited about here, as the many screenshots and teases have provided us.
Being a Mythical Beast-type fruit, we can expect that the transformation will provide huge passive buffs to your character. We can also expect there to be a mechanic that involves the number of tails it has, as can be discerned by the following screenshot shared by rip_indra.
It seems that all nine tails of the Kitsune must be earned. Each black bar seems to represent a tail milestone, as that user has passed the third bar and is on 3 tails. It is unknown how to earn power to increase the number of tails, but it will most likely be from dealing damage.
I don’t personally think that more tails will equate to more moves, but it will probably increase your damage and defence, and maybe even things like speed and jump height.
This ramping up in power will make PvP with the Kitsune Fruit much more dynamic, and I can’t wait to see it in action!
The moveset of the Kitsune Fruit will most likely involve lots of AoE attacks, like the one that rip_indra posted. Considering it is going to be one of the most powerful fruits in the game, then it seems like plenty of AoE attacks will be the way to go. We can also see high damage being dealt with the above move.
The Kitsune Fruit will be an expensive one for sure, but will certainly be worth it.
