The preview trailer for the upcoming episode has been released on the official website of KADOKAWAanime, teasing a fight between Annerose and Cid, who is disguised as Mundane. While Annerose can be seen using all her skills, Mundane is still able to overpower her with ease.
What Happened Previously On The Eminence In Shadow?
The previous episode was titled “Moonlight That Pierces the Darkness,” and it started with Cid’s sister, Claire, visiting him, but Cid avoided her by joining Skel in hunting Rose to gain the reward. Cid, however, respected Rose for taking such a huge step to evade an unwanted marriage. While wandering in the capital, Cid heard someone playing Moonlight Sonata on Piano, who turned out to be Epsilon.
Cid was disappointed to see her copying and playing his artwork in the other world. After the show ended, Epsilon revealed to Cid how she managed to make useful connections in the Oriana Kingdom by posing as a skilled pianist. The scene cuts to Alexia and Beta, who suspected that Rose ran away as she discovered Perv was the cultist who brainwashed the king. They then entered the underground to find her.
Rose, who was still suffering due to the infected blood, decided to surrender to prevent Oriana from going to war. Rose followed the sound of Moonlight Sonata and found Shadow playing it. She then realized that she could not surrender at the moment as she wanted to take revenge on the evildoers of the kingdom.
Eminence cured her illness and granted her powers before vanishing. In the next moment, she is surrounded by the Cult’s members, but he kills them easily. After meeting Alexia and Beta, Rose announced her separation from the group and decided to work on her own. In the meantime, Cid impressed Rose by playing the piano, and when he returned home, he found Claire waiting for him stubbornly.
