Bobby Brazier and his professional partner Dianne Buswell danced the American Smooth on this evening’s Strictly Come Dancing which received a huge applause from the live studio audience.

After their dance, to Ghost Of You by 5 Seconds Of Summer, Dianne raced over to Bobby and wrapped her arms around him.

The Australian dancer could be heard saying to Bobby: “Yes, well done. I am so proud of you!”

Bobby continued to put his arm over Dianne’s shoulders as the judges delivered the critiques.

Judge Anton Du Beke said: “I think that was the nicest thing you have ever done, it was exquisite. Why am I so surprised? It was a joy and I loved it.”

However, Craig Revel Horwood was harsher with his comments and criticised Bobby for his arm placement.

When the judges’ scores were in, they were given a total of 32 points out of a possible 40, with the highest mark being a nine.

Fans flocked to Twitter to comment on Bobby and Dianne’s dance, with Clare writing: “Bobby and Diane massively underscored there and why so they fawn so much over Angela?”

Rachel said: “What more does Bobby need to do?! #strictly #undermarked.”

Elsie said: “Why is Bobby undermarked every week?? “His best dance” but only one 9? #strictly.”

Annette added: “#Strictly I can’t believe Bobby and Diane don’t deserve more than ONE 9 in their scores!”

Bookmaker Coral makes news presenter Krishnan Guru-Murthy the favourite to exit Strictly Come Dancing this weekend.

The star who is the favourite to take home the Glitterball Trophy is Coronation Street star Ellie Leach.

“Krishnan’s time on Strictly could be set to come to an end this weekend, as he is the favourite in our elimination betting. We think he will be in a dance-off with Annabel Croft and he is likely to lose that battle,” explained Coral’s John Hill.

“Ellie Leach continues to attract strong support in our outright market, and she is now a warm odds-on favourite to lift the Glitterball Trophy,” concluded Hill.

Strictly Come Dancing’s results show airs tomorrow evening on BBC One.
