Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed a May showcase for Playstation set to cover PS5 and PSVR 2 games.
Playstation Showcase Confirmed for May 2023
Sony will be holding a Playstation Showcase on May 24th at 1PM PT/ 4 PM ET/ 9PM GMT. The showcase will last about roughly an hour and will be showing off PS5 and PSVR 2 games. A quick teaser trailer confirmed the news along with details we’ll be seeing games from “top studios from around the world”. PS fans will also get to see “several” first-party games from Playstation Studios. Also teased are “spellbinding games” from third-party developers and indie creators.
As for what we could be seeing during the showcase, maybe a visit from our friendly neighbourhood spider? Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has an upcoming fall 2023 release date but no exact launch date announced yet. Others in the mix could be Mortal Kombat. Maybe we’ll get a Metal Gear Solid announcement? Rumours are always swirling this time of year, especially just before major events such as these. So we’ll have wait and watch what surprise may be in store.
