Back in January, Smilegate and VA Games kicked off closed beta testing for the upcoming project, Outerplane. It is an anime-styled turn-based RPG with gorgeous AAA graphics and stunning combat. As we draw closer to its global release, the developers have unveiled a teaser and brand page for the game.
Outerplane follows the story of an Earthen being, suddenly transported to a fantasy world. Being randomly summoned from home ignited the sparks to a massive adventure where the protagonist will encounter numerous companions. In terms of visuals, the game will have a cartoony look with thrilling combat sequences that employ strategies like skill bursts and skill chains.
Gameplay-wise, players will be creating an arsenal of numerous heroes while engaging in turn-based fights. Each character will have its own unique abilities that will help when deciding on the perfect team. The game’s lore is just as deep, giving players enough to explore this beautiful world.
Currently, players can visit two websites for more information. The teaser page introduces Eva, an automatic doll created to welcome everyone. Something is off about her though; her mysterious expressions and the star Mirsha is bound to raise a few eyebrows.
The brand page, on the other hand, gives a good look at Outerplane’s premise. Players will be able to get a sneak peek into the game’s universe and detailed information about all its characters. The various social media channels will house 4-cut cartoons and character introduction videos.
Outerplane will launch for global audiences towards the end of May 2023. More information about the game will be available on their two new pages. If you’re also looking to find a community of other eager fans, then be sure to check out Outerplane’s Twitter and Facebook handles too.
