One Piece Chapter 1078 Spoilers

The new chapter is titled “Escape Time Limit,” and the cover page reveals Judge and Ceaser holding hands while German soldiers celebrate the alliance. Renju and Ichiji can also be seen in the background.

The chapter starts with Stussy talking to Sentoumaru and informing him about the arrival of Marine Forces on Egghead Island as a backup since the World Government started taking extreme precautions due to Vegapunk’s vast research that is way beyond Ohara, and secondly because the Egghead Island has a defense force. While the World Government is taking extreme measures, people on Egghead Island start evacuating.

The scene cuts to Franky’s group, where we see him partially paralyzed due to half of his body being turned into stone. However, he can still talk. Pythagoras is in tears and asks S-Snake who gave her the orders, but she remains quiet and jumps on him, causing a huge explosion. We then see Robin, who assumes that something might have happened to Stella. Atlas replies that there is one abandoned lab where they could check, and Robin asks Atlas to take her and Chopper there.

Back at Sanji’s group, we see Nami holding Edison in her arms; meanwhile, Brook, in his ghost form, decides to look for Vegapunk. The battle between Sanji and S-Shark continues, and the former lets the latter punch him, but it has no effect on him. Sanji comments that this is because of the power of love.

Cut to Luffy’s group; Seraphim don’t let their flames go out, so Luffy and his group still can’t manage them. S-Hawk disappears, and Luffy deduces that he must have gone to target the weaker members of the group, as their defeat will divert the concentration of the stronger ones. As a result, Zoro and Kaku follow S-Hawk, while Luffy and Lucci continue to battle S-Bear.

The next panel shifts to Bonny, who can be seen sitting and crying over Kuma’s memories. The narrator then says, “These are all events that happened the day before the famous “Egghead Incident.” However, the causes of this incident started three months ago.” We then get a flashback, where we see Holy Land Mary Geoise receiving a message from a mysterious person, informing us that Vegapunk was researching the Void Century. As a result, the World Government sent some CPO agents to investigate the matter; however, they never returned.

After some time, the mysterious person called again and demanded to talk to Gorousei directly. The mysterious person convinced Gorousei to believe that Vegapunk was the traitor, resulting in the former sending the CPO agents to kill the latter. In case Vegapunk retaliates, one member of Gorousei decided to go himself, along with Kizaru and Marine forces from all Marine Bases. We then see a band consisting of Saturn, Kizaru, Vice Admiral Doll, and Marines. The narrator then claims that the conclusion of the incident will shake the world in a way no one has imagined.

Finally, the chapter reveals York as the traitor, who can be seen standing in front of Stella. She can be seen wearing the same smiling face; however, a creepy one this time. The two then have a conversation, and York says that she is going to be a Tenryuubito, and Stella replies why she would want to become such a horrible human being? York comments that someone like Shaka would say such a thing, but he is dead. At the end of the chapter, she claims that the world only needs one Vegapunk.
