One Piece manga is on a break this week, but fortunately, some early spoilers of Chapter 1048 have surfaced online. So, we have a brief idea of what to expect from the upcoming chapter.
Eiichiro Oda has given us some of the most remarkable One Piece chapters in 2022 so far. The community still can’t stop thinking about Luffy’s Gear 5 and the abilities that come with this new level. The Straw Hat Pirates captain isn’t ready to give up against Kaido just yet. Luffy has unleashed his giant form to defeat his opponent; he even used lightning in the fight, which was a topic of discussion for the community for several weeks. Then, in the previous chapter, Luffy created a fist that was big enough to destroy the entire island. Luffy’s fist isn’t far away from reaching Kaido, but there’s one little problem.
Apparently, Luffy is ready to punch Kaido right through Onigashima. So, the attack could very well destroy the island, killing several people on it. Luffy is very well aware of the situation, so he asks Momonosuke to move the island away. However, Momo isn’t sure if he can do what Luffy is asking.

Early Spoilers of One Piece Chapter 1048 are out
We’ll have to wait a few more days to get some detailed spoilers for the next One Piece chapter. However, some early leaks regarding chapter 1048 surfaced on the internet. These spoilers don’t reveal if Momonosuke is able to move the island away from Luffy’s attack, but we do learn something else.
Interestingly, the next chapter’s cover confirms that Ichiji and Reiju are intruders. Similar to the previous chapter, we’ll see small flashbacks in Ch 1048, possibly around Momo. Talking about Momonosuke, Oden’s son will try to create some fire clouds. There’s no way to confirm this as of now, but there’s a chance that we’ll see Momo learning how to create the fire clouds in a small flashback.
Finally, the spoilers also reveal that Denjiro, one of the former Nine Red Scabbards, will return in Chapter 1048. The leaks state that Denjiro will chop off Orochi’s head, which is definitely surprising for fans. Of course, this doesn’t confirm if Orochi will actually die in the next chapter, but it would definitely be interesting to see Denjiro back in the manga after almost a year.
So, these are the only One Piece Chapter 1048 spoilers that have appeared as of yet. We’ll hopefully get some detailed explanation about the chapter around May 3rd, so we’ll update this post accordingly.
