One Piece Chapter 1048 Delayed
Eiichiro Oda, the legendary author of One Piece, usually takes a break after releasing a couple of manga chapters. That was the reason why the manga was on a break last week. However, the mangaka isn’t the reason why we won’t get Chapter 1048 this week. Apparently, Weekly Shonen Magazine is on a break this week, so we’ll have to another week to see the brilliance of the next One Piece chapter.
One Piece Chapter 1048 Release Date
Chapter 1048 of One Piece is scheduled to release worldwide on Sunday, May 8th, 2022. The chapter will be available to read on Viz Media and Manga Plus, and the release timing will be 8 AM PDT (Pacific Timing). But of course, the timing will vary depending on your region. One Piece Chapter 1048 Spoilers aren’t out yet
Early spoilers for a One Piece chapter arrives 4-5 days before its physical release in Japan. But since the magazine is on a break because of the Golden Week, no spoilers for chapter 1048 have come out. You’ll hopefully get some leaks about the next chapter around May 3rd, 2022. So, we have to wait for a few more days to get a glimpse of the upcoming events.
What Should We Expect from One Piece Chapter 1048?
The previous manga chapter ended with Luffy creating a fist that is similar to the size of the island. It’s clear that Luffy is done playing around, and he is ready to end things once and for all. He is all set to crush Kaido with his fist, but there’s only one problem. Apparently, Luffy plans to punch Kaido right through the island, meaning, his attack could very well destroy Onigashima. However, before launching the attack, Luffy asks Momo to move the island. Of course, Momo isn’t sure that he could do it, but Luffy believes in him.
So, one of two things might happen. Momo will come to the rescue by moving the island away from Luffy’s attack, and the Straw Hat pirate captain will land a powerful blow on Kaido. Either that or Momo will fail the task, and if that happens, Luffy will have to stop or slow down his attack to protect the island. In the second scenario, Kaido will probably get some time to recover, and he’ll be able to contain Luffy’s attack.
