No Rest For The Wicked Release Date & Roadmap

0

On March 1st, 2024 Moon Studios announced that No Rest For the Wicked, their new ARRPG that seems to be a hybrid between loot driven games like Diablo, and combat focused ARPGs like Dark Souls, will be going into Early Access on Steam on April 18th, 2024. No Rest For the Wicked is also coming to Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but not until the full launch of the game. There is currently no timetable for full release, but a safe bet would be the tail end of this year, or early next spring.

A Lot Is Being Added in Early Access

That’s not all, however, as Moon Studios did provide a glimpse into the future of No Rest For the Wicked during its Early Access period. The biggest thing on the list appears to be Multiplayer support, which will not be present when Early Access first launches in April.

If you didn’t know, you will be able to play No Rest For the Wicked with up to 3 other players once it’s added to the game. Additionally, more content and features will be added including a new area called The Breach, along with miscellaneous additions.

The big issue here is that coop will be missing in April, and that seems like a rather large thing to be absent at the start of EA, especially for a game that is SO anticipated by its fanbase, and one that cooperators are likely to be drawn too. If you intend to coop with your mates or family members, then you’ll likely have to wait for Update 1, that is sure to come out later this year before you play.

However, the single player experience has been absolutely fantastic so far, and you can hear what we had to say in our very own impressions video about the game.
