Kohei Horikoshi also shared an apology note to fans and began by thanking readers of My Hero Academia before informing them about the hiatus for the current and upcoming issue. The poor health condition of the mangaka was stated as the reason for the sudden break, after which she apologized to the readers who have been left waiting. The apology note also reveals that My Hero Academia is featured in this issue’s postcard, and although the chapter was completed, she couldn’t make the corrections on time due to her detrimental health.

What Happened Previously On My Hero Academia?

The previous chapter started with a flashback of the Central Hospital after Lady Nagant woke up. The doctor warned her of her poor health, but she ignored the doctor’s warning and asked for the enemy’s location. The doctor resisted divulging the information as she was a convict, after which she revealed that Izuku wanted her to fight alongside him. In the meantime, Rock Lock arrived and updated her on the battle. He allowed her to fight, putting all his trust in her.

Back to the present, Lady Nagant shot a bullet at Shigaraki. Although the effect of the bullet caused her tremendous pain, she remembered Deku for bringing light to her life and then shot another bullet by gathering all her strength and managed to blast Shigaraki’s right arm. All For One within Shigaraki then criticized Nagant for acting as a victim despite murdering several Heroes. Suddenly, Shigaraki took over, and several fingers appeared from within his mouth, and he further laughed at him on his failed attempts to steal One For All.

Shigaraki reveals that he had been hiding his core deep within his soul and continuously reclaimed himself. All For One then tried to command Kurogiri to transport him to his other self, but the latter seemed to be facing trouble controlling Oboru. Shigaraki overpowered All For One, and he, alongside Tenko, claimed to destroy everything that stemmed from the house he grew up in. At the end of the chapter, Deku attacked Shigaraki, throwing him out of the U.A., and stated that while he couldn’t let Shigaraki win, he couldn’t forget Tenko’s pleas for help, either.
