Who else could be more lovable to horror genre fans other than Stephen King and his spine-chilling novels? If horror movies tickle your fancy, then here’s an upcoming movie based on the novella by the same name, which is part of Stephan King’s If It Bleeds collection.


Back on July 10th, 2020, Netflix announced that it had acquired the right to adapt the novel into a feature-length movie. It was also confirmed that Blumhouse Productions would be producing the movie alongside Ryan Murphy, while John Lee Hancock would be in the writer and director’s seat. Well, here we are now, discussing Mr. Harrigton’s Phone release schedule more than two years after its official announcement.

Mr. Harrington’s Phone will release on October 5th, 2022, on Netflix. The movie has a runtime of 106 minutes and will be available to watch in the English language. There’s no official word regarding the air time of the movie, but we can expect it to drop at the same time that Netflix usually follows for its new releases, which would be 12:00 AM PT. Given the simultaneous release schedule, here’s the time for different locations.

Craig is a young boy from a small town who becomes good friends with an elderly billionaire, Mr. Harrigton, and they both come close over their love for books and reading. Mr. Harrington passes away soon, but he’s still present in supernatural form. Soon, Craig is able to communicate with Mr. Harrington using the phone he gave him while he was alive.
