It has been around six months since we got the official announcement for Mob Psycho Season 3. Well, after a long wait, we finally have some new information on the third season’s release date.
Studio Bones released the first season of Mob Psycho 100 back in 2016, followed by the second season in 2019. Apart from that, the studio also released a Mob Psycho OVA, which was well-received by the community. However, it has been a while since we’ve seen Shigeo back on our screens with his dominating psychic powers.
Earlier this year, the official Twitter account of Mob Psycho 100 started a countdown to confirm that Season 3 of the anime series is in production. However, it was only an announcement trailer, so it was mostly scenes from the previous seasons of Mob Psycho 100. Along with that, the studio didn’t give us any release date for the third season. But as we slowly approach the Fall 2022 anime season, Studio Bones has come forward with more exciting information on the next season.

Mob Psycho 100 Season 3 Gets a Release Date
On May 12th, 2022, Studio Bones confirmed that Season 3 of Mob Psycho 100 would premiere in October 2022. The release date announcement was accompanied by a new trailer for the upcoming season. Unlike the first trailer, the new teaser gives us a glimpse of the next season’s story. Mostly, it’s Mob’s followers looking for their leader, while the young psychic prodigy is figuring out his career path. Here you go; take a look at the trailer yourself:
It’s definitely exciting that we are only a few months away from witnessing the brilliance of Mob Psycho 100 once again. However, what’s even more thrilling is that Mob Psycho will join other popular anime like Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War arc and Chainsaw Man because of its October release. So, anime fans will be eating well this Fall season.
