Rise and Fall has started airing on Channel 4 and Greg James has been overseeing the hopeful contestants. The competition, from the makers of The Traitors, sees the hopefuls climb the power ladder whilst avoiding being eliminated from the top. One of the contestants is Marina Pownall and Express.co.uk has all you need to know about her.
Who is Marina from Rise and Fall?
Marina, 18, is a receptionist from London and she is the youngest member of the group.
She lives at home with her parents, having recently left university to pursue her acting dream.
She describes herself as a good leader who comes with plenty of positive energy.
“I don’t provide problems, I provide solutions,” she claimed.

The contestant listed her sociable and communicative side as a quality she believes could help her win.
If she does make it to the top, she could be bagging a huge £100,000 prize.
Her age is no barrier, yet she claimed people are often shocked when they find out how young she is.
She said: “Fake it ’til you make it, confidence is key.”
Speaking ahead of the series, she claimed the older generations “have it easier in some aspects”.
In the series she has been living in the basement, but her personal life is very different.
She is keeping fans up to date on Instagram and it seems she loves a fun night out with friends.
The rising star was the first contestant to earn a place as ruler in the competition.
Edmund, Jack, Jeff, Joanna, Prince, Sophie and Sydney are also still in the running.
Host Greg said of the new series: “I’ve been waiting a long time for a show like this to come along that I can get stuck into and be the ringleader of.
“It’s an amazingly mad idea and the contestants are going to make some incredible TV.
