Legendary film director Martin Scorsese’s next film, Killers of the Flower Moon, finally has a premiere date for theaters.
The historical drama is set to premiere in limited theaters on October 6th, 2023. A wider theatrical release is coming shortly afterwards on October 20th.
Produced under Apple’s Original Films brand, Killers of the Flower Moon is being distributed by Paramount Pictures. Like other Apple-produced media, once it hits streaming it’ll be on Apple TV+.
Scorsese is directing with a script by Eric Roth. This is the seventh production where Scorsese is working once again with star Leonardo DiCaprio.
He’s also collaborating with co-star Robert De Niro once again, with supporting cast Lily Gladstone, Brendan Fraser, and Jesse Plemons.

“In 1920s Oklahoma, the Osage Nation were the richest people per capita in the world, after oil was discovered under their land. And then they were murdered, one by one. As the death toll rose, the newly created FBI took up the case and unraveled a chilling conspiracy and one of the most monstrous crimes in American history.”
