The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has a bunch of different locations for you to explore meticulously from top to bottom. These locations can hide any sort of secrets, whether that’s world building, or a new item. Tears of the Kingdom introduces two new levels to the world of Hyrule, those being the sky and the Depths. You can find even more secrets in these locations, with the Depths in particular being essentially another version of Hyrule underground. In the Depths you can find many different locations that are hard to get to due to the verticality and darkness around the area. One of these is the Floating Coliseum, which can be pretty hard to get into. Here’s our guide on how to get to the Floating Coliseum in Tears of the Kingdom.

How to get in the Floating Coliseum in Tears of the Kingdom

First things first, you can see the location of the Floating Coliseum on the map below. The X is in the center of it, as there’s an Old Map that leads to this location. To get to it underground, you can fast travel to the Mu-ustust Lightroot for the easiest access to it. If you don’t have that one unlocked, you can also see it just to the left of the Floating Coliseum on the map below.

To get to this area of the Depths, you’re going to need to head to the Great Plateau North Chasm. You can see the location of that Chasm in the map below. After going down this Chasm, place a pin at the Floating Coliseum, and run in that direction and you should be okay. There’s some Gloom on the way, and small walls to climb, but it’s a relatively easy route to take. You should see a Lightroot on the way too, which will always be handy to activate.

Getting to the Floating Coliseum

After arriving and activating the Mu-ustust Lightroot, after climbing the wall surrounding the Lightroot, you should be able to see the Floating Coliseum. It’s just across a body of water, but it’s very high up. You have a few options here. If you have enough stamina, you can simply climb the wall to the Floating Coliseum, there’s also a construction depot to your right where you can build a flying device to get you there if you want. But there’s an even easier way of getting there.

If you’re facing the Floating Coliseum from the Lightroot, you can simply climb the trees that are in front of you. These trees don’t cost more than a single stamina wheel to climb thanks to the places you can rest on them, and take you high enough that you can simply glide over to the Floating Coliseum with ease. You can even stand on the top of them thanks to how horizontal the trees curl at the top.

Hopefully with this trick you should be able to get to the Floating Coliseum with ease.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for purchase from the Nintendo Store.
