The Unknown Island is one of the end-game islands you can travel to in Lost Ark once your level is high enough. What sets this island apart from the rest of them is that the paths are randomized each time you visit.
While it may take you a few attempts to receive the island soul after defeating one of the bosses, it will be well worth it once you have enough tokens for the reward you have your eye on. After this guide, hopefully, you will be one token closer to that reward.
Unknown Island
This island lives up to the name ‘unknown’ by being unpredictable. On this island, there are two bosses that you have the possibility of facing, however, you won’t know which one until you arrive down the correct path. There are also up to 4 spawn points for them as well, so you never know exactly where the bosses will spawn. Not only are the spawn points random, but this island will give you 3 paths that may or may not lead to the boss. Not only can you retrieve the island soul, but there are also 3 hidden Mokoko Seeds.
This island is located Northwest of South Vern or Southwest of Shushire. On the map, it will be located west of the Wall of Procyon. You will want to acquire Lost Ark ships prior to venturing to this island. While technically this island is not an adventure island, it may not be available all the time. Check your Procyon’s Compass and click the islands tab to check what times this island will be available. You could even set an alert using the stopwatch in the upper left corner menu.
It is suggested you turn off alerts for everything you’re not looking to do so the notification for the event you’re waiting for won’t be lost in a sea of notifications. Once you turn off notifications for everything, you are free to select which events you want to be alerted for and when you would like to be alerted. For example, if you choose 30 minutes before, then you will be notified 30 minutes prior to an event starting.
The Unknown Island Token
Some island locations can be difficult to locate, however when you arrive at this island you can then begin your island adventure. Once you choose the correct path to follow on this island, you will be met at the end by either Beast King of Darkness or Beast King of Light for a boss. A telltale sign that you have chosen the correct path would be the monkey mobs you must defeat as well as the vine blockages in your way. Either of these bosses, when defeated, will have a chance to drop the Island Token. Other random drops include Focus, Guardian Stone Fragment, Gold, and Destruction Stone Fragment.
Three minutes after players enter the island, there will be a co-op quest called A Veiled Entity that will begin. The more players there are, the easier it will be to defeat the boss. While some islands, such as the Adventure Islands, can only be accessed once per day, this island can be repeated. This is good news to those who need to repeatedly defeat the bosses on this island in search of the token. It is recommended that you are a level 50 with an item level of 460 before you take on this island.
Once you reach the level requirements, all you have to do is build your ship and head to the open sea. Once you complete the Unknown Island Token quest, you can then move on to other tasks on this island such as finding the hidden Mokoko Seeds or just doing some general exploring. Keep in mind you’ll want to ensure your inventory is not full, so you can receive the rewards dropped by the bosses.
Island Token Rewards
The Island tokens can be exchanged for rewards by visiting Opher on the Lonely Island. This island is located Northwest of Anikka in the middle of the East Vern Sea. The rewards go up in value by increments of 5 up to 95. With 19 rewards and over 90 tokens to unlock scattered throughout the islands, it is worth the grind for them.
