It’s not every day we get a DLC for a game that just released, but this is the case with Remnant 2’s The Awakened King, and it has introduced a ton of new weapons, including the Sparkfire Shotgun. We’re going to run over how players will be able to obtain this weapon below.
Remnant 2: How to get the Sparkfire Shotgun
The mentioned weapon was only just added into the game, and fans have been flocking to it, as it’s proven to be one of the more powerful weapons within The Awakened King DLC. Before diving in, it’s also worth noting that players will only be able to obtain this weapon if they have already purchased the Awakened King DLC. It is exclusive to the DLC.
There are currently two known ways to obtain this weapon, and the first method will task players with completing some of the DLC story in the region of the Derelict Lighthouse.
This is accessible via The Awakened King DLC, and once here, players will need to progress towards the lighthouse itself, and defeat some foes within. You’re then going to want to loot these enemies, as one of these will have the Lighthouse Key on it, which will be used to unlock a secret room under the lighthouse, which will be opened via the other side of this key.

Once here, open the door beneath the lighthouse, and The Sparkfire Shotgun should be in front of you, and it’ll be lootable for players. Be sure to inspect the key, however, as this is the only method players will have to unlock the secret door, as it’s going to correspond with the door itself.
The only other method to obtain this weapon is to create an entirely new class, but it can only be as a Ritualist Archetype, as this class will get the Sparkfire Shotgun right from the get-go.
But, players will first need to unlock this class, so keep this in mind when playing through the brand-new Remnant 2 DLC.
