The supernatural horror comedy Dead Boy Detectives has just been released on Netflix, but what songs are on the soundtrack?

The series is based on the DC Comics characters of the same name, created by Neil Gaiman and Matt Wagner, while the show has been helmed by Steve Yockey, who also developed The Flight Attendant

It stars George Rexstrew and Jayden Revri as the titular detectives Charles Rowland and Edwin Paine, who opt not to enter the afterlife, but to stay on Earth and investigate crimes involving the supernatural.

The show is set in the same universe as Gaiman’s The Sandman, which was released by Netflix in 2022.

Speaking about the show to Radio Times, Revri has said: “It’s a very, very complex relationship. You’ve got to think, these two boys, they were both 16, they both died, it’s pretty awful what happened to them, and then they find this perfect connection between each other of wanting to do good for people who went through the same things that they did.

“And then on that journey, they then meet Crystal and Niko, who kind of bring out these different sides to the boys that they probably haven’t shown each other for 30-plus years.”

All eight episodes of the show were released onto Netflix this morning (April 25).
