Do you need help with the Spire of Solitary in Genshin Impact? This guide can help you through it.
Sumeru is the latest region to debut in Genshin Impact. As you’d expect, it is full of new characters, enemies, quests, and of course, new domains. Some domains will have you facing off against familiar enemy types like Slimes and Hilichurls, while others will focus on pitting you up against the new enemies that are home to Sumeru.
As you make your way across the region, traversing countless mountainsides and giant trees, you’ll eventually stumble across the Spire of Solitary Enlightenment. This domain’s enemies will come at you with many different elemental combinations and enemy types. Here’s how to take them all down like a pro.
Domain Overview
Like most domains, Spire of Solitary Enlightenment comes with four tiers of difficulty. Regardless of what tier you choose, you’ll be fighting different variations of the Eremite enemies. Tier one and two will pit you against mostly melee versions, as well as a couple of mortar-firing archers. Tier three and four will add the more elite version which includes an Eremite Sunfrost and Eremite Clearwater enemy.
The archers will use a Dendro-like mortar, and the melee enemies will typically use either Electro, Hydro, or Cryo attacks. This means you’ll want to have a Pyro character in your party as they’ll be able to do solid damage to every enemy type you’ll face.
Domain Strategy
Since there are no additional environmental hazards or challenges in this domain, you’ll just need to focus on how to do the most damage to your enemies. When the battle begins, focus on taking out the Dendro archers first. Their attacks will cause you to build up Dendro damage and react to the other enemies’ Electro attacks. As you are taking out the archers, you’ll need to be pretty evasive since there is also an Eremite Electro wielder that will chase you around the battlefield. Focus on attacking him while you are attacking the archers, as he is bound to catch up to you.
If you are taking on tier three or four, you’ll also fight a Sunfrost and Clearwater Eremite. Their attacks do Cryo and Hydro damage, respectively, which can be a troublesome combination. If they both attack you, you’ll almost immediately freeze in place. Since their primary attacks can do this, you’ll need to focus on stunning them at the same time when possible. You can do so most easily by using Elemental Bursts, but also when combining two different elemental attacks to create a reaction like Overcharge or Superconduct. If you are playing as the Traveler, using your Dendro Elemental Burst and combining it with Electro or Pyro damage seems to be one of the best ways to quickly dispose of your enemies. Regardless of which characters you are using, keep hammering the enemies without letting up, and you’ll come out on top.
