In Fire Emblem Engage, you’ll also be able to change your character’s class after reaching certain leveling requirements. Class changes not only let you advance in your current weapon proficiency, but they let you change which weapons you use and what role you play on the battlefield. But before you can start reconfiguring each of your characters, you’ll need to get your hands on some Master Seals first. Here’s where to find them.

What Are Master Seals

There are many types of items you’ll acquire as you play through the main story and side quests. One of the most important and rarest items you’ll acquire is a Master Seal. These seals are important for most class changes and act as a sort of currency for completing the change.

You can view how many Master Seals you have by going into your Storehouse Inventory and scrolling over to the “key” category on the far right. You can also view how many you have by going into your regular Inventory, choosing a character, and selecting “Change Class.” Once in the Change Class menu, you’ll see your Master Seals count at the bottom of the screen.

Where To Get Master Seals

While these are relatively rare items in the game, there are luckily a few ways you can acquire them. The first will happen organically as you are playing through the main story chapters. Not every chapter will give you a Master Seal, but every 4-5 chapters you should get one. We found that we received one after completing Chapters 7, 12, and 16 for example. You can also get them by revisiting previously cleared areas on the World Map and completing the skirmishes that pop up there. Additionally, you can also get them from some of the Paralogue chapters throughout the game.

The easiest way to get Master Seals is from the item shop. Initially, there will be a limit of three available each time you visit return to Somniel after a battle. Eventually, you’ll be able to buy more than three each visit, and toward the later chapters of the game, this limit will be removed. While this is the easiest way to get Master Seals, they are going to set you back since they are 2500 gold each. Because of this, it is best to just buy what you need when you need it, rather than stock up on them as you might with other items.
