Emmerdale’s Wendy Posner’s affair ‘exposed’ as she’s caught with Liam Cavanagh | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Emmerdale’s Wendy Posner (played by Susan Cookson) and Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) can’t seem to keep away from one another – and now they have finally been exposed.

During Friday night’s episode, viewers of the ITV soap saw Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) have her suspicions about the duo as she told all to Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler).

As word got back to Liam and Wendy that people had started gossiping, the nurse decided to try and throw the two women off of them.

Telling them both a lie, she made up a story that she’d been helping Liam proofread his new book, hence spending a lot of time with him.

Although Nicola seemed to buy the web of lies, Bernice wasn’t as convinced and decided to get to the bottom of it.

Meeting up with Liam secretly, Wendy was happy with herself as she told him that Bernice and Nicola were convinced by her story.

Fearing that her husband Bob Hope (Tony Audenshawwould) would find out about them, Liam reassured her their secret was safe.

Although it looks as though he may have spoken too soon as Bernice and Nicola had followed Wendy and spotted the duo kissing.

As the duo were caught in the act, will their secret stay quiet for long? Or will Bernice reveal all to Bob.

It wasn’t long before people watching took to Twitter to share their thoughts on Wendy and Liam finally being found out.
