Emmerdale’s Amelia Spencer makes life-changing decision after troubled past with Gabby | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

In official spoilers released by ITV, things could start looking up for Emmerdale teenager Amelia Spencer (played by Daisy Campbell).

The young mum has had a bad time of late, not only did she suffer a terrifying health scare, but she also had to deal with Samson Dingle (Sam Hall) blackmailing Noah Dingle (Jack Downham).

Her dad Dan Spencer (Liam Fox) has also been struggling with money, which has put pressure on Amelia who is trying to finish college.

Dan has been left out of pocket due to Cain Dingle’s (Jeff Hordley) failing business, which means he is struggling to put food on the table.

Amelia ended up getting a job with Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) in a bid to help provide for her dad and daughter.

However, in upcoming scenes, a new job opportunity could arise for the youngster which could help her family for good.

Amelia ends up hearing a conversation between Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) and Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy).

Victoria voices her regrets to Laurel and her husband Jai (Chris Bisson) about her decision to help Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) with The Hide’s social media presence.

However, Amelia seizes the opportunity and offers to replace Victoria.

Amelia and Gabby have had a turbulent past, but could her life-changing decision help the young mum to get back into Gabby’s good books?

Elsewhere, Gabby is gearing up for her wedding day as she prepares to marry Nicky (Lewis Cope).

However, little does she know, the nanny is secretly working with his dad, Caleb Milligan (Will Ash).

Nicky, who doesn’t want to go through with the wedding, has got close to Gabby in a bid to take Kim’s businesses away from her.

Caleb is on a mission to take everything away from Kim Tate (Claire King) as he finally gained the Home Farm owner’s laptop passwords.

The newcomer is the son of Kim’s ex, Frank Tate (Norman Bowler), and wants the businesswoman to lose everything she holds dear.

Caleb has even betrayed his half-brother, Cain by convincing Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb) to sell the farm.

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
