Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ Nicky’s true identity in Kim Tate DNA twist | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV
Emmerdale’s Gabby Thomas (played by Rosie Bentham) has had her sights on Nicky (Lewis Cope) ever since Kim Tate (Claire King) hired him to look after Thomas. The nanny rejected Gabby’s romantic advances at first, but in recent weeks, the pair have struck up a romance and have been sneaking around behind Kim’s back. However, their secret may come out sooner than they think after Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) caught the two in an embrace.
During Thursday night’s episode, Caleb confronted Gabby and Nicky and threatened to tell his business partner Kim about their romance.
However, Gabby was quick to point out that she also had shares in Home Farm, so he would be wise not to say anything.
“Did you want something?” Nicky asked as Caleb walked into the kitchen.
“Yeah. salacious gossip so, thank you,” Caleb taunted back.

“Look we are all adults and on top of that I am a shareholder in this operation,” Gabby said to Caleb.
“So whatever crumbs you’re wanting off Kim’s table, that’s my table too.”
Gabby warned: “So I think you should bear that in mind. So you’re going to keep your mouth shut, yeah?”
“I am all about the crumbs,” Caleb said as he casually strolled out of the kitchen.
Ever since Nicky’s arrival, fans have been questioning who is really is and whether he has any connections to the village.
While some believe he is secretly working with Caleb, others think he is connected to Kim’s son, Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln).
However, following Thursday’s episode, one fan threw out the wild theory that Nicky is actually related to Kim.
@EastieOaks shared: “Probably overthinking it but a good indicator there is that something is up with Caleb & Nicky is that Nicky has been in the show for months and strangely no last name??? thas has me thinking he is related to someone already in the village… me thinks Kim #Emmerdale. (sic)
@stefansdevane replied: “I’m hoping for Nicky Hammond as his surname. The older brother who held Chris Tate captive, Liam Hammond. His son. That would be very interesting but the writers just aren’t that creative.”
@topgooner100 predicted: “Nicky is Defo in cahoots with boring Jamie which is why he’s weird with Gabby.”
While @claire12163303 added: “Maybe Nicky and Caleb are working together to take over Home Farm from Kim. Nicky is Zoe’s son and Caleb is his Stepfather.”
@RyanTheSoapking theorised: “That comment that Nicky made about Caleb and “Secrets” last night definitely gave away that they are working together #Emmerdale.”
@Bhoney1990 went on to point out: “Anyone else find that interaction between Nicky and Caleb odd? Considering they’ve never really had an interaction before and how Nicky reacted to Caleb catching him with Gabby #Emmerdale #Caleb #Nicky.”
“Nicky and Caleb are working together some how Iv worked it out I don’t know what their end goal is but they are definitely working together,” @MisTintehotbabe said.
