don’t destroy items in No Rest For The Wicked

As an RPG, you will collect items that you won’t always need in No Rest For The Wicked. However, destroying unneeded may have some consequences you’ll want to avoid.

Destroying items in No Rest For The Wicked may destroy other valuable items in the process

Many players have been reporting on the unfortunate destruction of valuable items when trying to destroy things no longer needed in No Rest For The Wicked.

One player reported that upon destroying a common sword, their Claymore was also destroyed. This must a bug that is likely on higher priority to be squashed, considering the developers are taking a very proactive stance to community feedback.

However, until such a patch rolls around, every time you destroy an item, you run the risk of destroying all other similar items.

This is a pretty big problem, as you will keep coming into contact with better loot, and items you decide you don’t want further down the line. As inventory management is important, getting rid of such items is typically desirable (unless you’re a hoarder, like me).

Note that even equipped items are candidates for destruction, which is arguably the most important items you’ll have on you – so unless you want to become pantless like ItsCoolDood, then you’ll need to pursue an alternative way of getting rid of unwanted kit.

Don’t destroy in No Rest For The Wicked, sell instead

Thankfully, destroying items isn’t the only way to get rid of them in No Rest For The Wicked. It may be a bit of a pain, but making the effort to sell unwanted items will bypass the risk of losing an item you need.

Not only will you get rid of the items that you actually want to get rid of, you’ll also earn some extra money, which is always something you’ll want more of.

This isn’t as straightforward as simply destroying the item, but until it gets fixed, it’s the only safe means to dispose of unwanted items without destroying equipment you’ll actually need.

As No Rest For The Wicked is in early access, reporting this problem will bring more attention to the developers will help speed along a fix, especially as they’re engaging in the community. Just remember to keep civil, I suppose.

Whilst you’re making coins from selling your unwanted gear, why don’t you have a look at all the other ways to make some silver?
