As Destiny 2’s Season of Plunder enters week 7, a new series of challenges have been revealed. While Eramis pursues her dark purposes throughout the season, you’ll want to complete these new challenges in order to advance in the season pass and acquire cool new items.

Completing these challenges will do just that, with some offering XP+++ as a reward along with a nice helping of Bright Dust and Repute. This week’s challenges continue the trend of only offering seven challenges to complete, but their rewards are well worth pursuing.

DUALSHOCKERS VIDEO OF THE DAY

Antiquarian VII

Return the seventh relic to the H.E.L.M.

Also, defeat powerful Vex throughout the system. Defeating more powerful combatants will award bonus progress.

Rewards: Repute, Challenger XP+

Like previous Antiquarian challenges this season, you’ll want to advance the new leg of the Sails of the Shipstealer quest in order to acquire the seventh relic. Once you’ve acquired it from the Pirate Hideout, return it to the H.E.L.M. and bring it to the table across from the Star Chart for some additional seasonal dialogue.

Shaper II

Level Seasonal Shaped Weapons to Level 10.

  • Level 10 Shaped weapons 0/3

Rewards: Repute, Challenger XP+

Once you’ve crafted your very own seasonal weapon, you’ll want to use that weapon in activities and out in the world, gaining kills in order to level it up. You’ll need to level a seasonal-shaped weapon to level 10 a total of three times, so get to work!

Closing In

Defeat targets with Machine Guns, Sniper Rifles, and Swords in Gambit. Defeating Guardians will award bonus progress.

  • Machine Gun 0%
  • Sword 0%
  • Sniper Rifle 0%

Rewards: Challenger XP++, Bright Dust

Every week (usually) offers a new Gambit challenge. This one might be a bit onerous, especially for you Guardians out there who generally try to avoid bringing a Sniper Rifle into this type of activity, but the Challenger XP++ and Bright Dust make it worth pursuing.

Grandmaster

Complete any Nightfall strike on Grandmaster.

Rewards: Challenger XP+++, Bright Dust

This challenge is pretty straight-forward. You’ll want to complete a Nightfall strike on Grandmaster difficulty. If you have a dedicated fire team, this should be no trouble at all. If you don’t, feel free to venture into matchmaking. Good luck, and make sure you equip the appropriate Champion mods.

Efficient Expedition

Complete Expedition to each destination in under 10 minutes.

  • Expedition: Nessus
  • Expedition: Cosmodrome
  • Expedition: Europa

Rewards: Challenger XP++

Thankfully, this challenge is retroactive for the season, so if you’ve already completed any of these Expeditions in under 10 minutes, those will be completed by the time you receive this challenge. This challenge only rewards XP++, so it might not be a high-priority challenge to complete, but it’s a nice bonus for those speedy Guardians out there.

Underhanded

Defeat targets with Sidearms and defeat jolted combatants.

Defeating combatants in Ketchcrash and defeating Guardians will award bonus progress.

Rewards: Challenger XP+

Another challenge that is light on reward – head out there and defeat enemies with Sidearms and Arc abilities. You should complete this in no time for a modest boost to XP for the season.

Fleeting Glory

Complete Crucible matches in the Glory Rank playlist. Earn bonus progress for wins.

Rewards: Challenger XP+++, Bright Dust

While some Guardians might avoid Crucible when they can help it, this challenge offers progression on losses as well as victories, so it’s worth pursuing—especially for the limited Bright Dust offered each season, along with the XP+++ as the reward.
