Treasure maps are just one of the many things to do around the realms of God of War Ragnarok. Each realm is filled with content, and treasure maps help you see new areas while also getting rewarded with consumable items and amulet pieces to round out your build further. These amulet pieces can contribute to set pieces that, when paired up, can offer further more powerful bonuses for Kratos.

Finding The Treasure Map

To locate this treasure map, you’ll either need access to the Applecore Descent Gateway, or begin from the first gateway of the realm. If you start from the beginning, head back across the lake by the chained raft you rode with Tyr. From there, cross the island to find the elevator down to where the Applecore Descent Gateway is located.

From here, continue heading down the pathway deeper into the tunnel, fighting the few enemies that have since repopulated your escape route. Watch towards the right side of the tunnel until you see a ledge with a nearby airway coming from the rocks, signifying somewhere to throw the Draupnir spear. Throw the spear and use it to climb over the ledge, and the map will be right in front of you.

After finding the treasure map, the treasure will spawn, and it’s time to leave Svartalfheim. Head to the nearest gateway, and return to Midgard. After destroying the rock, head down the small path to find the small glowing gold aura marking the treasures’ location. Interact with this to have Kratos use his Leviathan axe to dig the treasure out and complete the hunt. Also, when entering or leaving, look up to see the fire pot that can be knocked down and kill the creature below to obtain further rewards for your trip.

Obtaining this treasure will reward the player with 2 Petrified Bones, 2 Luminous Alloy, 2 Asgardian Ingots, 40 Shattered Runes, and 50 XP for Kratos. Players will also be given Helheim’s Force, one of many amulet pieces. Helheim’s Force increases Kratos’ melee damage when his health is below 50%.
