The shop in the Dead Space Remake is the go-to location for buying new suits, ammo, healing items, power nodes, and weapon upgrades. At the beginning of the game, what the shop carries is very limited, and it can only be expanded by finding schematics. Everything short of actually upgrading your weapons, all your power gain is gained with money from the shop.
The schematics are found over the course of the main story and add more loot to buy in the shops around the ship. It increases the upgrade spots on your rig as well as gives more armor and inventory space. The price of ammo varies depending on the power level of the weapon, but no matter what, it is helpful to have the schematic for the guns you enjoy using to keep them stocked up.
Chapter Two
- Pulse Rounds: Located in the Medical section of the ship. On your way back from getting the Hydrazine container. In the zero-gravity area, you will need to fly up to the room a floor up when you are backtracking through the space section right before the ship gets hit by something. Follow the hallway and fly down the elevator shaft to the bottom and go through the door. The pulse round schematic is on the left side of the room.
- Stasis Pack: Also found in the Medical Section; once you get to the area that enters quarantine, head down a floor and go into the Lab Changing Room. Inside that room, on the right, on a bench, will be the Stasis Pack schematic.
Chapter Three
- Medium Med Pack: While you are in the Engineering section on the way to activate the Centrifuge right after Decontamination Room, there will be a locker with the schematic for Medium Med Packs inside it.
- Ripper Blades: After getting the flamethrower, there will be a very fleshy central area you are at the top of. Take an elevator down one floor and find a room that has swarmers coming out of it. Get some distance before turning around and killing them because you don’t want them to get on to you. Kill them, and on the immediate left of the room they were in is the Ripper Blade Schematics.
- Flamethrower Fuel: In the Engine Room on the right is a console you can interact with up some stairs. Up there on the chair is the Flamethrower Fuel Schematic.
Chapter Four
- Intermediate Engineering Rig: After rerouting power from the third junction box to the ADS cannons, head to the hall just after that. The first door on the right in the EVA Prep Room will have the Schematic for the Intermediate Engineering RIG on a bench.
Chapter Five
- Line Racks: While trying to locate the source of the broadcast, instead of going on the elevator, keep going straight through the Zero-G Therapy door and take the first door on the right. The door is to Dr. Warwick’s office and will require a security clearance of two to enter. Once inside, the Line Rack Schematics will be on the table.
Chapter Six
- Force Energy: Head to Hydroponics as you do in Chapter 6 and head to the Air Filtration Tower. There will be a zero-gravity section with electrical traps that can be distracting at the time. Go past the first one, and on the window to the right of the stasis recharge station, there will be a broken window you can go into with the Force Energy schematic inside.
Chapter Seven
- Contact Energy: In the Mining/ Engineering deck and go to the large central elevator. Go to Floor B and head to the central area before the zero gravity section. Just after the hologram of Jacob, there will be a locked door that requires you to shoot a node through a broken window to get in. Go inside and grab the schematic and power node.
- Intermediate Miner Rig: After defending Nicole, she will open the door that allows you in the room with the SOS Beacon. On the left of it, you will find the Intermediate Miner Rig Schematic.
Chapter Eight
- Oxygen Tank: First accessible after gaining a security clearance of at least two, the Oxygen schematic is one of the more out-of-the-way ones that can make it easy to miss. Go to the Refueling Control Stations in Engineering and hug the right side until you go down a floor, then hug the left side until you find a room that requires security clearance to unlock called Platform Storage. Inside you will find the Oxygen Schematic along with some Power Nodes and other items.
Chapter Nine
- Large Med Pack: Upon entering the Infirmary on The Valor, the schematic for Large Med Packs Schematic will be on the immediate left. You’ll notice an out-of-control laser in this room. If you do not grab it before the end of mission nine, you will have to do another playthrough to get it, as, after this mission, it is gone.
Chapter Ten
- Advanced Engineering Rig: On your way to finding the Crew Deck Key main objective, you will pass through the bathroom right before Zero-G Basketball, where you will find the Schematics for the Advanced Engineering Rig on the bench on the left.
