Coronation Street’s Toyah Battersby actress Georgia Taylor has been spotted filming scenes for the ITV soap which see her bound and gagged.

The Weatherfield resident has been pictured with a cut on her head and make-up running down her face suggesting the ordeal will be traumatic.

It’s not known who her mystery captor is but it’s likely they could be related to Griff Reynolds (Michael Condron).

Coronation Street fans will remember Toyah’s boyfriend Spider (Martin Hancock) went undercover to expose Griff as an extremist.

Spider’s identity was finally revealed and Griff was captured after trying to set off a bomb at a market on the cobbles.

While Griff went to prison and eventually told Spider where the funding for his extremist gang came from, he could still want revenge.

What better way to hurt Spider than to plan the kidnap and attack on his partner Toyah.

ITV have yet to confirm a new storyline for Toyah but fans will be hoping she doesn’t face a tragic fate.

Could this be the end for Toyah or will she make it out of the ordeal alive?

Elsewhere in Weatherfield, there’s heartache for another couple when Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) learns Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) has Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

Billy will learn about Paul’s diagnosis when he goes to court for attempting to steal a car.

He’s devastated by the news but vows to stand by his partner and next week accompanies him to an appointment with a MND specialist.

The pair hope Paul will be eligible for treatment with a specialised drug but it’s not good news.

Wanting to cheer up his partner, Billy arranges a last minute holiday as he borrows the church minibus.

Paul is thrilled with the surprise, especially when he learns his family have decorated the van with inflatable animals.

Will this be Paul’s last holiday as his health begins to deteriorate?

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV at 8pm.
