The previous episode of Blue Lock was a reunion between former teammates, with us learning more about Barou. The episode ended with a match between Team Red and Team White, where the former (consisting of Chigiri, Kungami, and Reo) scored the first goal against Team White. In the upcoming episode, Team White will have to work as a team and use their respective weapons if they need to move forward in the second selection process.

Last Time on Blue Lock…

Isagi and Nagi learned that Barou was scrupulous, and they imagined him as a maid. Isagi wondered if Barou’s self-confidence was the reason for his exceptional skills, and Isagi desired to know more about him. All three then went for the practice session, and Barou followed his own routine, and Nagi and Isagi joined him later.

Anri reported to the federation on the second selection process. The others questioned Ego’s methods, stating that all a person needed was talent. Ego then criticized them by saying that talent needed to be developed to get the best striker in the world, or else they would get a temporary star player who would end up playing in the domestic leagues.

Chigiri, Kunigami, and Reo were seen practising, and Chigiri wondered if Isagi and the others had advanced in the selection process. But Reo stated that he only cared about defeating Nagi at the moment. On the other hand, Isagi was brainstorming about what Naruhaya meant to say when he applauded him by stating that he was a genius of adaptability. Later at the cafeteria, Isagi asked Barou about his ideal play style, to which he replied that he only wanted him to help him (Barou) score a goal.

During a bath, we saw a reunion between Chigiri, Kunigami, Isagi, Reo, Nagi, and Barou. Chigiri asked if they would love to play against them, and Isagi accepted their challenge. Back at the training session, Isagi noticed that Nagi and Barou didn’t get along very well, so he needed to be the key man in the upcoming match. They also discussed how they wanted different skills from their enemies in their team to grow further. On the other hand, Team Red also discussed strategies for the upcoming match.

Aryu, Tokimitsu, and Bachira were looking for a team to play against them, but no one wanted to play against them as they were the top scorers of Blue Lock. Finally, the match between Team Red and Team White started, and together with their team cooperation, Team Red scored their first goal, while Team White struggled to coordinate.
