Avengers Secret Wars leak – Wolverine and Andrew Garfield Spider-Man major plans | Films | Entertainment

When Avengers Endgame brought the whole MCU together, fans went wild as the blockbuster briefly became the highest-grossing movie ever made with $2.799 billion taken at the box office.

Since then, Marvel Studios have announced Avengers The Kang Dynasty and Avengers Secret Wars as their next crossover event.

Set for release in May 2026 and 2027, the two blockbusters will be multiverse epics featuring superheroes from across different realities coming together to take on Kang the Conqueror.

Given that Disney now owns the rights to Fox’s X-Men characters and the studio has a deal with Sony for Spider-Man to be in the MCU, it looks like Secret Wars is set to be an even bigger crossover than Endgame.

In fact, respected leakers have now teased big plans for at least a couple of the non-MCU superheroes entering the franchise.

MyTimeToShineHello tweeted: “Hugh Jackman will officially return for Secret Wars in a major role.”

Meanwhile, CanWeGetSomeToast shared: “Before the strikes, Kevin Feige reached out to Andrew Garfield about having his Spider-Man appear in Avengers Secret Wars.”

Both of these leaks are very believable given that both stars have brought their characters to the MCU already.

Garfield’s Peter Parker showed up in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Jackman’s Wolverine is returning in next year’s Deadpool 3. But they’re not the only big stars rumoured for Secret Wars appearances.

MyTimeToShineHello has previously teased that Secret Wars will see Wolverine interacting with Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man.

Meanwhile, CanWeGetSomeToast has teased that the other rumoured returning Fox X-Men characters in Deadpool 3, like Sir Patrick Stewart’s Professor X and Sir Ian McKellen’s Magneto, are expected to all be in Avengers 6 too.

If it wasn’t enough that we’re probably getting the Spider-Man trio again with all the Fox X-Men, it’s also heavily rumoured that both Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man and Chris Evans’ Captain America will return in the epic.

And with all the time travel and multiverse shenanigans dominating the franchise’s arcs right now this can easily make sense to the storyline.
