An announcement trailer has been released for the turn-based wooden 3D RPG Another Crusade. The title will be releasing this Fall 2023 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch and PC via Steam. The game is influenced by a classic game Super Mario RPG, which incidentally recently announced a remake in the works.
The game takes on traditional turn-based RPG combat, letting you execute commands when the timing is right. The world includes quests and puzzles to solve. Utilising powerful magic that is amplified by button sequences.
The art style takes on a nostalgic feel with its 3D wooden textures but is elevated by its animated design. It gives an early Final Fantasy vibe but instead of pixel sprites, it has its own wooden doll charm. Expect comical situations with a cast of quirky characters. Limited Run will be launching both physical and digital editions this year.
Another Crusade’s Kickstarter was launched by developer DragonVein Studios in February 2023. Successfully funding its main goal with 480 backers earning $301, 670 MX in total.
Another Crusade releases on PS5, Switch, Xbox and Steam in Fall 2023.
