Leaf Stone Evolution

Eevee was one of the first Pokemon ever to be introduced to the world back in the 1990s. Although hundreds of new Pokemon have been released since then, Eevee continues to be one of the most loved by the Pokemon community. It’s no surprise that Eevee and its many evolutions make a return in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.

Once you catch your very own Eevee, you can evolve it into its grass form, Leafeon, by using the Leaf Stone. This is the only way Eevee will evolve into this form, but you’ll need to make sure you do it before it reaches a friendship level of 160. Otherwise, it will likely evolve into Espeon, Umbreon, or Sylveon depending on certain conditions at the time it reaches that level. Luckily, Eevee is relatively easy to find so if this happens, just catch another one and evolve it right away using the Leaf Stone.

Where To Find A Leaf Stone

The best way to get a Leaf Stone is to buy one at any Delibird shop. They will become available there once you have finished the Levincia Gym. They cost 3,000 Poke Dollars to acquire, but you are guaranteed to get one, which is a nice benefit when compared to some of the other evolution stones you’ll need in the game.

You can also find them in grassy areas while exploring Paldea, with a higher chance of finding one in Tagtree Thicket. These come from random drops though, so you’ll have to get lucky if you try to get one this way. Levincia Gym is one of the easier gyms to finish, so you can likely tackle it early in your game and pick up a Leaf Stone with less hassle than finding one in the wild.
