There are three Pokemon in particular that you can evolve using the Ice Stone. Here’s the list of Pokemon and the location where you can find Ice Stones.
Ice Stone Evolutions
The first of the three Pokemon is Cetoddle. When you give them the Ice Stone they will evolve into Cetitan. There are no specific gender or level requirements for this evolution, just the Ice Stone.
The second Pokemon you can evolve this way is a fan favorite, Eevee. When you give Eevee an Ice Stone, they’ll evolve into Glaceon. While there are quite a few ice-type Pokemon available, Glaceon is one of the coolest, definitely one to prioritize using your Ice Stone on. There are also three evolution paths that Eevee can go down that don’t require an evolution stone. In order to prevent them from evolving down one of those paths, just be sure to use the Ice Stone on them as soon as possible. If you catch an Eevee and don’t have an Ice Stone yet, just keep them in your box until you are ready.
The third and final, Pokémon you can evolve with the Ice Stone is Crabrawler. When you use the stone on them, they will evolve into Crabominable, a powerful crab-fighting-type Pokemon.
Where To Find An Ice Stone
Finding an Ice Stone in the game can be pretty tricky since there are no known spots that guarantee you one. You can get them by random item drops on Glaseado Mountain though. Head north from the Montenevera Gym, and you should find one or two by picking up the sparkling items on the ground. We had particularly good luck when exploring right next to the tan spots on the map image above.
You can also buy some from the auction house at Port Marinada. This method will likely be more work than it’s worth though because there is no way to guarantee one will be available. Rather than spending multiple days checking back to see if you get lucky, stick to the icy peaks of Glaseado Mountain and you should find one pretty quickly.
