In Marvel Snap, the game provides its many players with a continuously growing number of cards within their collections. These cards are utilized by players to create decks, and simply-put, Ongoing decks are one of the best out there. And, oe of the best Ongoing cards is easily Onslaught.
Onslaught is a 6-cost card with a fair 7 power, and his Ongoing ability doubles the other Ongoing abilities within his location. Because of this incredible and game-changing ability, Onslaught has the power to enhance multiple location’s power in unexpected amounts. Some cards even work better than some others with Onslaught, and players should utilize these combos to ensure victory.
10/10 The Punisher
The Punisher, a great Marvel character, is an awesome Ongoing card in the wide variety of cards in Marvel Snap. He also will only cost players an initial 3 energy. Punisher has the Ongoing ability that for every opponent card there is on his location, he gains +1 power.
This adds to his 2 power, making for an initial maximum of 6 power when the enemy fills the location with their own cards, which is a pretty solid boost. When Onslaught is played on the same location as the Punisher, Punisher would be able to double his power by gaining 2 power for every enemy card, making his maximum power 10!
9/10 Kazar
Kazar is one of the very first cards that beginners will be able to obtain in pool 1 of Marvel Snap. He’s also one of the best cards to utilize in powering other cards up. Kazar is a great 4-cost card that has the Ongoing ability to give all friendly 1-cost cards an extra 1 power.
For players using plenty of 1-cost cards to win the game, this card is amazing to use. Playing Onslaught with Kazar allows 1-cost cards to gain even more power, which can power-up all three locations in the game to ensure victory!
8/10 Captain America
The heroic Captain America easily stands to be one of the best Ongoing cards in Marvel Snap, and who better to push his potential than Onslaught? Captain America has the great Ongoing ability of providing every card at his location an extra 1 power.
Because of this, he can create a large amount of power on his location. Playing Onslaught with this card can help Captain America give even more energy to allies — plus, Onslaught would even receive the boost.
7/10 Warpath
Warpath is a great 4-cost card providing a commendable 5 power. This X-Men character can provide even more power by simply keeping one location empty during a game of Marvel Snap. If played strategically, this card can easily provide 9 power thanks to meeting his ability requirement and gaining 4 power.
Onslaught being played with Warpath can help ensure that location’s victory and doubling Warpath’s power boost, making his power go all the way up to 13! This power is even greater than some 6-cost cards.
6/10 Iron Man
The nostalgic hero Iron Man has yet another one of the best Ongoing abilities in Marvel Snap, and players already have him to start with in the beginning of the game. Iron Man has the unique Ongoing ability to double a location’s power.
This ability can easily make it so that a 20-power location shoots all the way up to 40! With Onslaught by Iron Man’s side, the two can easily reach power-levels into the hundreds, though the two should only be utilized when necessary.
5/10 Blue Marvel
Blue Marvel is a great 5-cost card and wonderful Ongoing card that players can obtain at the highest tier in the rookie’s season pass. This card is utilized by many people making use of Ongoing-themed decks, as it is one of the best.
This card has the Ongoing ability to provide all other friendly cards with 1 extra power, essentially powering up all locations with friendly cards present. Onslaught doubling Blue Marvel’s power will create even more of a power boost, giving each card an extra 2 power, including Onslaught.
4/10 Devil Dinosaur
Devil Dinosaur is yet another one of the best Ongoing cards in the virtual card game, and that’s because of his incredible ability. Devil Dinosaur has the Ongoing ability which grants this card +2 power for every card in the player’s hand.
With 5 cards in hand, Devil Dinosaur can reach 13 power, which is insane. Onslaught doubling Devil Dinosaur’s ability will easily snatch victory from the opponent on that specific location. The player should just beware of any Enchantress or Shang-Chi cards, as they can kill this strategy quickly.
3/10 Mister Fantastic
The Fantastic Four leader, Mister Fantastic, is another card that beginners will obtain in an early collection level before hitting pool 1 of Marvel Snap, and he’s one of the best for the middle location. This card is a 3-cost card providing 2 power, and it has the Ongoing ability to provide locations that are adjacent to him an extra 2 power.
With Onslaught played with him, Mister Fantastic will put out an incredible 4 energy to each location adjacent to his card, which can be a great asset when unable to play cards at other locations.
2/10 Klaw
The villainous Klaw brings a great ability for players to use within Marvel Snap. Klaw is one of the best cards for players to use within the middle and left locations, and that is because Klaw has the Ongoing ability to provide the location to his right an extra 6 power!
This is a great card to surprise the opponent with, and it can provide great power to locations that cards may not be played at. Pairing Onslaught with Klaw, the card will exert an incredible 12 power to the location to the right of him, quickly taking that location from the opponent.
1/10 Omega Red
Omega Red is a greatly underutilized card in the grand Marvel Snap, as he has an incredible Ongoing ability — especially when paired with heavily powered cards. Omega Red is a 4-cost card with a solid 5 power, but when his location is ahead by 10 power, he provides the other locations with +4 power.Overall, Omega Red can provide 13 power split between three locations.
With Onslaught pushing Omega Red’s limits, Omega Red can easily provide +8 power to the other two locations, making it the best card to be doubled!
