Dragon’s Dogma 2 is full of neat smaller details that make the experience all the more enjoyable. There are so many without introduction that even after extensive playtime, there will still be many unturned stones.

Being able to raise your visors was one such stone I didn’t turn, and I’m so glad it’s been brought to my attention.

Allow your Arisen to finally see in Dragon’s Dogma 2

Reddit user NovapreemBoga shared the discovery that you can raise your visors in Dragon’s Dogma 2. The whole fashion aspect of Dragon’s Dogma 2 compared to the original is controversial, but thankfully this feature has persisted.

Upon seeing the news I immediately tried it. Unfortunately, my helmet didn’t have a visor – but an accompanying Pawn’s did. I cracked a smile when I could finally see his beautiful Beastren face.

It’s these little tidbits that elevate the overall experience in small but meaningful ways. I know I’ll be looking for visors in every helmet I come across just for the brief novelty and amusement of doing it. Although I might keep mine closed. I’m not the most sightly Arisen.

How to open and close your visor in Dragon’s Dogma 2

Note that all helmets will have a visor for you to open and close.

Go into your Items and select your helmet. If the “Raise Visor” prompt shows up, then you can toggle it on to open it. Note that your avatar to the left and helmet’s icon won’t reflect this change. You’ll have to get back into the game to see the change.

Although you won’t notice it at all, it’s fun to play around with.

If this has you running to buy a helmet with a visor but are strapped for cash, then don’t worry. There are plenty of ways to make money in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
