The penultimate pack is named after its flagship character, Bray Wyatt. Zeus, a one-time rival of Hulk Hogan, is also coming to WWE 2K23 alongside a duo of NXT superstars, Blaire Davenport (known in the indies as Bea Priestly) and Joe Gacy. Rounding out the fourth pack is Sarah Logan, who is making a return to the series.
The final pack contains retirees Wade Barrett and Eve Torres as well as another trio of NXT talent, Nathan Frazer, Andre Chase and Damon Kemp.
Speaking at a preview event that DualShockers attended, creative director Lynell Jinks touched upon the team’s excitement about this year’s DLC, saying “You’ll see some big names in here, and I think a lot of people will be really happy with the choices we made this year. We’re excited to get these out into the game and make 2K23 even stronger after release.”
Associate gameplay producer and community favourite Bryan Williams also commented on the DLC, remarking “I think it’s a really good offering of talent. Like I said, past, present and future. Very happy with what we’ve assembled here. I’ve been very happy working on the movesets, it’s been a joy. It’s a lot of work, everything in this game takes a lot of work, but it’s fun. I’m playing these characters right now and testing them out, I think everybody is going to be pleased and happy when these DLC come out.”
Williams also called WWE 2K23 “one of the best DLC offerings we’ve had in a while,” a big statement from a veteran with over a decade of making WWE games.
The official release dates of each of the DLC packs are outlined in the table above.
