Early on in Mariner’s Keep you can find a locked entrance to the Western Bridge in No Rest for the Wicked, but where can you find the key? The key will only be available for a certain quest line, so don’t be too discouraged if you can’t find it.
No Rest for the Wicked: Where to find the Western Bridge Key
Around the first time you stumble upon the Western Bridge locked door, you won’t be able to find the key until you reach a certain side quest. You’ll find the Western Bridge Key in No Rest for the Wicked during the quest “The Innkeeper’s Husband” on the broken bridge above the western Cerim Whisper in The Shallows.
Once you reach Sacrament you can speak to Caroline who used to run the Inn before it was destroyed in a fire. She’ll ask you to find her missing husband Gordon who is somewhere in The Shallows, but you’ll get a map marker to track him.
Head to the map marker, which leads you toward the Cerim Whisper inside the tall tower. You’ll hear Gordon start to shout for help, so climb up and exit at the broken bridge. He’s on the other side and can’t jump over safely, so jump to his side. You’ll notice an item on the ground, which is the Western Bridge Key you’re looking for.
After speaking to Gordon, he’ll ask you to find a way around so he can get back home. You need to use this key to unlock the Western Bridge entrance, which is in Mariner’s Keep noted on the map above.
Once you unlock the door, you’ll face a few enemies while making your way back around to where Gordon is. Knock down the ladder and speak to Gordon to complete the quest. You’ll now be able to meet Gordon back in Sacrament to purchase meals that can heal you.
This isn’t the only missing key you’ll have to find in No Rest for the Wicked, once you make it to the Quarry you’ll have to find the Quarry Guard Key.
